Margie Moss
Margie Moss is an interior decorator, artist, and competitive tennis player. She started Joplin Decorating Center out of her home 35 years ago, and now has a beautiful showroom in Joplin, Missouri.
Upon graduating with a B.A. from the University of Arkansas, she began her design career at Halls Crown Center as a Home Furnishings Buyer, traveling to markets across the country. A few years later, she transitioned to Hallmark Cards as a Design Coordinator.
In 1980, she moved to Joplin with her husband. They started a family, and she opened Joplin Decorating Center. After years of helping clients create beautiful and functional living and working spaces, she is grateful for the opportunities God has given her!
Kim Foster
Kim Foster has always had a love for design. Growing up, she remembers herf mom sewing everything from clothing to window treatments, rearranging the furniture, and sketching unique furniture designs that Kim’s dad would bring to life with his skilled hands.
While raising two boys, she deeply loved decorating her own home. When people saw what she put together herself, they began hiring her to help with their homes. Eventually, the owner of Masterson’s, a high-end home accessories shop, hired Kim to do the owner’s personal holiday decoratring, as well as in-store and window displays for the holidays.
During this time, she discovered a love for floral arranging and has created beautiful custom arrangements for many homes in the Joplin area.
In 2016, Kim joined Joplin Decorating Center as a Lead Designer. She describes joining JDC as a “God thing!” She loves helping others put together their dream home and is excited to help you today.
